Now, there's a few things that could be improved. First of all, the proportions. I know it's hard to fit a whole horse in a 50x50 box but I feel like the body should be longer, while the head/neck part should be smaller to keep the horse in balance.
Then, as for the movement. The animation of the back legs is great, even though I feel like it should be sped up a bit to make the trot look better. But there's something off about the front leg animation. At a certain moment it kind of freezes or spazzes, either way it does something that does not belong in this cycle.
One little thing that I'd like to point out is that I would've made at least three frames for the green in the background, because when I look at it for a few seconds it just looks like it's jumping back and forth rather than sliding by.
Overall, I still like it, and I'm sure you'll get very pretty pixel animations if you try and fix the little things that are off.
Ik vind de schaduwen en de beweging van het lichaam echt heel mooi, maar het hoofd is volgens mij te groot vergel eken met het lichaam.
Ook denk ik dat de achtergrond wat te snel gaat als je kijkt naar hoe snel het paard loopt. Het kan natuurlijk ook zijn dat dit paard gewoon snel draaft maar toch ziet het er een beetje raar uit.
Voor de rest vind ik de manier waarop de benen en manen/staart bewegen echt mooi gelukt.
Dus als het hoofd wat kleiner zou zijn en de achtergrond iets langzamer vind ik hem echt geweldig
